I've been meaning to do a page for Chino for sometime now. We are grateful to Ernest and Angie of Asuncion Boxers, for giving Chino to us. We had been grieving the loss of our ragdoll boy, Mocha for a very long time and I suppose Angie thought it was time that we moved on. So..... along came Chino. There were times in the first few months of him living with us that I was ready to send him back because he was such a freakazoid but he has turned into a wonderful companion for all of us, 2 legged and 4 legged. Unbelievably, he has mellowed..... a LOT!! I don't think that he realizes that he's a cat. He doesn't take any guff from the dogs but he is incredibly gentle with the puppies. He and our Boston Terrier, JoJo, play non stop.
Oct 5, 2011: CHINO IS LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME. Chino wants to be the Alpha of the house and has taken it upon himself to discipline the dogs for every little offense. He needs to go to a home with no dogs or other cats. He has a wonderful personality and loves being with people. He even seems to love the dogs when it suits him. However, we can no longer trust him alone with them and so we are searching for a new home for him.
